Today all Criterion A is due, strand i, ii and iii. I had finished strand i and ii during the summer but then had to edit and some things especially for strand i as I then thought of new things such as the website. At first, I didn’t think of it but then I wanted to create one so I could keep all my process journal entries as well as my products there. I had to start strand iii which consisted of 6 credible sources, all were different types of sources like a website, scholarly article, videos, blogs and etc, I also had to analyze by evaluating the authority, purpose, relevancy, accuracy, and currency and I then had to MLA cite each source using NoodleTools. I had also asked for feedback from Miss Grosch, both during the summer and during PP meetings.

By doing this I used creative and critical thinking skills, communication, organization, information literacy, and media literacy. I used creative and critical thinking skills in order to come up with my PP topic and my products, I had to reflect on something that’s very important to me but also to the world and come up with creative products. I also had to reflect and think of knowledge gained from school subjects but also life-experience that will help me throughout the process as well as find credible and useful sources for my research. I used communication skill as I had to clearly explain my PP topic, why it personally connects to me, how it can help my community, why it’s challenging, my GC and exploration, my goal and etc, I also had to clearly explain school subjects and life experience that have helped me gain skills that will be useful during this process and I also had to clearly evaluate and analyze sources for their accuracy, relevancy, purpose, etc. I of course used organization skill as there are a lot of due dates and a lot of things to do, therefore it is very important that I distribute the work so that I’m able to complete everything by the due date, for example, I worked on strand i and ii during the summer so I had less overload at the beginning of school. I also used both information literacy and media literacy skills, especially in strand iii, and also had to fully analyze 6 credible and reliable sources, some of these were articles but some were videos therefore I had to find, interpret and judge different types of sources.
