Tomorrow, the product is due and I had to work a bit on my website. I did most of it but I had to work on incorporating the meal plan, the recipes I wrote and the research as well.
Initially wanted to include the recipes using the blog, therefore in the same way as the process journal but after trying multiple times, I realized I couldn’t include multiple 2 blog pages without showing all the posts. Therefore, I had to find another way, I’m still not familiar with all of Wix’s features but I was able to discover a feature called ‘Content Manager’ and I actually saw a template with recipes, therefore I decided to use that.
Unfortunately, I had started, wrote all the recipes but then the the text wasn’t showing on the website. Therefore I then had to approach it a different way, what I did was find a tutorial on how to use the ‘content manager’ feature and wanted to try and follow this and understand what I did wrong. I didn’t want to loose or mess up the work I did, therefore I opened a new template with a blank page, watched the tutorial and tried to follow it, working on the template. I realized what that the mistake I did was trying to change the template/structure, therefore I looked at the correct one and created a plan, I then used this for my website. I was able to complete this and then worked on adding the meal plan, I wanted to create one which showed the names of teh recipes for each day, and made aesthetically pleasing. The way I approached the issue was very beneficial and smart.I used critical and creative thinking when coming up with the idea of following a tutorial and using a new template, I also was creative when creating the format for the recipes and for the meal plan. I used communication skills in order to clearly show the recipes, the meal plan and etc. I also used media literacy skills in order to find the tutorial.
