During this week we were sent out a survey in order to choose our options for our Personal Project supervisor. There were lots of people on the list and I didn’t really know most of the teachers, therefore I asked my advisor for science teachers and he suggested Miss Lungu and Miss Stanley, I wasn’t familiar with them either so I sent out an email to Miss Grosch asking it they were science teachers.

She didn’t answer the email but that day there was a PP meeting for people who had questions, therefore, I asked her and her feedback was extremely helpful.
I then reflected on who would be best for my PP topic and chose my top two options which were Miss Lungu as she is a science teacher and was the PP coordinator in the past years and Miss O’Brien as I’m familiar with her and an Instagram account and website could all be things that she was familiar with being a design teacher. These were my top two choices as they could all help me with my PP
topic. I then sent out the survey and some days I would find out who was my Supervisor. By doing this I used critical thinking skills, communication, and organization skills. I used critical thinking as I had to reflect and try to think of who could better help me and guide me through the PP process, as my topic involved lots of science I thought a science teacher could really be helpful, in addition, it’s also important that my supervisor is knowledgeable about the process so they really help me, after making all these considerations I chose my top two choices. I also used communication skills as I had to send an email to Miss Grosch but especially when I asked her, in the meeting, about the two choices. I also used organization skills as I needed to finish the Supervisor choice survey by the end of the week, therefore I had to organize myself and take action in order to submit it by the due date.
